1. What education have you undertaken to this point in your career?

BSc Human Nutrition and MSc Clinical Nutrition (both UCD) PgDip Performance Nutrition (The IOPN) I have also undertaken courses in behaviour change and completed ISAK level 1.

2. What experience have you accumulated in the field of performance nutrition?

I currently work with GAA intercounty athletes and youth swimmers. I love carrying out practical workshops with athletes to help them translate nutrition knowledge into real, actionable meal planning.

3. What one piece of advice would you offer aspiring performance nutritionists or sports dieticians?

Build your network early in your career! This is key and attending conferences like HPX and ISENC is a brilliant way to do this. I attended ISENC before Christmas in Manchester and it was great to meet up with familiar faces and keep updated with the latest innovations in the world of sports nutrition.
